US Culinary Schools is a directory of culinary education in the United States. Every state, every school that reports a culinary program to the U.S. Department of Education, compared on what students actually pay after grants rather than on advertising budgets or decade-old reputations.
Who runs this site
Ankit P. is the editor and publisher. He builds and maintains comparison directories for career education, including this site and a sister publication covering U.S. fashion schools. His work here is editorial and analytical: pulling the federal datasets, checking program details against each school’s own website, and keeping closure records current. He is not a chef and does not claim to be. The culinary expertise on these pages belongs to the federal data and the schools themselves. The editing discipline is his.
What we do differently
We lead with net price, the amount students actually paid after aid, instead of sticker tuition. We group schools instead of ranking them, because cost data cannot put programs in a defensible 1-to-10 order. And when a famous school closes or reports under different federal codes, the page says so plainly instead of quietly dropping the name. The full process, including how this site earns money, is on the methodology page.
